Homecoming season is here, and universities across the country are buzzing with excitement! From spirited pep rallies and alumni reunions to the much-anticipated game day festivities, each campus has its own unique way of celebrating this cherished tradition. Geneva College
The campus was alive with energy as Tornadoes from near and far came home for Geneva College’s Homecoming and Family Weekend! Alumni, students, and families enjoyed a full weekend of events, including class reunions, department gatherings, lively tailgates, exciting athletic matchups, food trucks, the annual 5K, family-friendly activities, and the beloved Homecoming parade. From reconnecting with classmates to cheering on the Tornadoes, the weekend was filled with cherished memories and spirited celebration.
Taylor University
Taylor University alumni were thrilled to witness the university’s remarkable transformation over the last few years. The weekend featured a wide range of activities, including exciting athletic events, popular food trucks, an inspiring all-campus worship service, and memorable reunion dinners. Guests also took part in lifelong learning sessions, joined the annual Homecoming 5K race, and participated in many other events, highlighting the best of the university’s growth and vibrant community spirit.
Hanover College
Panthers came together to tailgate, reconnect, and relive favorite traditions during Hanover College’s Homecoming celebrations. Alumni celebrated milestone reunions, caught up with old friends, and shopped for game-day gear at the newly renovated Campus Store, which underwent a complete remodel in July 2024. The weekend was a perfect blend of nostalgia and excitement, as guests created new memories while embracing Hanover's rich heritage.
Oklahoma Baptist University
The Weekend at Oklahoma Baptist University brought together alumni, current students, prospective students, families, and friends for a campus-wide celebration. Combining Family Weekend for current students and Bison Day for prospective students, the event was packed with activities designed to connect and inspire. From campus tours and spirited athletic events to family gatherings and engaging programs, attendees enjoyed a weekend dedicated to showcasing OBU’s welcoming community.
Firebirds returned home to Carthage College for a weekend of reunions, festivities, and football! At the Forever Red Tailgate, guests explored a diverse array of food trucks, enjoyed a comedy showcase, and cheered on the Firebirds football team. The weekend also featured an Alumni and Family Brunch, the annual Firebird 5K, and the iconic Homecoming Parade. With class reunions, family activities, and more, Homecoming was a true celebration of the Carthage College spirit and community.
