5 Great Study Spots on Your College Campus

Discover five study spots that can help boost your productivity and creativity!

As a student, sometimes it's nice to mix things up when it comes to studying. While consistency can be an important factor when it comes to where you complete your assignments, sometimes a change of scenery can help get your creative side going and your productivity levels up. With that in mind, here are five places to study you might not have considered!

1. Library

The library is a tried and true study spot for generations of college students. While you do need to be quiet as you work in the library, the silence can awaken great creativity! Without the ability to find as many distractions, your focus can be better, too.

2. Coffee Shop

There’s nothing like a good cup of coffee to get your brain buzzing. If you like ambient background noise when studying, a coffee shop could be a great place for you to work. Just be careful not to over-indulge in coffee!

3. Outside

Need a change of scenery, and the building just isn't working today? Go outside! Hammocks, patios, and blankets spread out on the ground are all great places to work outside.  Find a blanket and get to work. The only challenge you may face is WiFi, so stay close to a building or work on something that doesn't need WiFi.

4. Classroom

Once class is over, why not stick around and snag a free desk in an empty classroom? You’ll have plenty of space to spread out your books and minimal distractions there. Just make sure there isn't another class in it after yours!

5. Lobby

Does your division have a lobby? Find a chair and work there! You'll be surrounded by your peers, so if you need advice on an assignment, they're already there.

Good luck with your studies! If you've found another great place to study, let us know!
