Six lucky Slingshot partner institutions; Indiana Wesleyan University, Taylor University, Biola University, Messiah University, Hanover College, and Bethel University will be the first campus stores in the United States to receive custom-made Roots merchandise.
Each of these stores will receive their own Collegiate line of popular Roots products from their salt & pepper hoodies, quarter zips, short sleeve t-shirts, and of course, their World Famous sweats. The salt & pepper fabrication is a blend of black and white organic cotton and polyester, giving them that cozy, never take them off feeling. "This will be unlike anything we have carried in our stores" said Jennifer Barker, Vice President of Retail Merchandise at Slingshot.
Super fans will also have the option to special order a one-of-a-kind varsity "award" jacket beginning in January 2025. Each store will have one jacket on display for shoppers to view. Many famous entertainers and artists, David Bowie, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Drake, The Weeknd and Spike Lee, just to name a few, can be seen sporting their own custom award jacket from Roots.
Prices range from $38–$94 and are available to purchase in-store and online, just in time for holiday shopping for the family!
